Some information about Kim:

Quilting and Fibre Art was a natural evolution for Kim. Under her grandmother's tutelage she began machine sewing at the age of 10. She designed costume jewellery in the early 80's where her designs were sold in major Toronto boutiques. From there Kim moved into designing fashion and home accessories. Her clients included the Art Gallery of Ontario.

Kim further enhanced her visual awareness while working in the Canadian Film and Television Industry, decorating sets and designing and acquiring props for the numerous productions she has worked on.

Her love of quilt making began in 1999, propelled into teaching in 2001 and designing quilt patterns since 2004. Kim's trunk show, "Confessions of a Quilt-a-holic", has entertained quilt guilds with her humorous insights of quilters.
